DWD FAX meteo charts on 15988 kHz

Today I received 6 more meteo charts prepared by the German Meteorological Service (Deutscher Wetterdienst - DWD) and transmitted over their Pinneberg LF/HF facility. The transmission took place on the DDK7 channel, 15988.0 kHz (USB carrier 15996.1 kHz), so this confirms my expectation in the previous post.

The transmissions on 11638 and 15998 kHz is not listed in the regular DWD schedule, as the exclusive recipient is the German icebreaker RV Polarstern of the Alfred-Wegener-Institut (AWI), which operates in the Arctic region.

The callsigns DDK7 and DDK8 can be confirmed from an old QSL card that I received from DWD in 2004 which lists these channels are F1B (RTTY).

I used my Icom IC-706 MkII radio and an old soundcard decoding program, JVComm32 (v 2.0.1). The antenna is a trap vertical for 40-10m.
